Cameron Park is the Raleigh neighborhood bounded by Hillsborough Street, Oberlin Road, Clark Avenue/Peace Street, and Saint Mary’s Street. Its beauty, close proximity to downtown, and active neighborhood spirit make Cameron Park a highly desirable place to live. Originally platted in the early 20th century, Cameron Park was then marketed as an upscale “streetcar suburb” with access to downtown via Hillsborough Street. In 1985, our architecturally varied neighborhood was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
